Health and Social Care workers have had enough of unfair pay, broken promises, unsafe staffing and threats to our jobs and services.
We keep these services running. We carry the pressure of staff shortages and excessive workloads. We deserve fair pay, safe workplaces and secure jobs — and we’re prepared to fight for them.
NIPSA has agreed an industrial action ballot. Now we need a resounding YES.
We’re fighting for:
Payment of our outstanding 2026–27 pay award.
The Real Living Wage for our lowest-paid colleagues.
Pay parity and fairness in pay reform.
Safe staffing and an end to excessive workloads.
Protection of jobs and services against cuts.
Fair mileage rates — workers should not be left carrying rising travel costs.
BALLOT OPENS: WEDNESDAY 21 OCTOBER
